A group of eleven Indians and two white men are pictured sitting in and around an old automobile (model probably could be identified). Tentatively identified in accompanying correspondence as "Buffalo Bill's Indians (Cowboys and Mexicans, too) at Grant's tomb, in NYC."

Received from Nancy Cabasin, Time-Life Books 32-16B, Time and Life Building, Rockefeller Plaza, New York City, New York, 10020, June 21, 1968 (correspondence filed with print), who received photograph from Picture Collection of Automobile Manager's Association, Detroit (information from phone call 7/9/68). She plans to use photograph in an essay on the American Indian, 1900-1910, Volume I in Time-Life's series, "This Fabulous Century."
