Photographs collected by George C. Shaw documenting the Lake Lanao campaign, many of which were made by George Damon Rice. They depict Moros (probably Maranaos), United States soldiers, a harbor, a US Infantry camp, and fortifications. The prints, some of which have captions, have been enlarged, possibly for exhibition.

George C. Shaw (1866-1960) was a United States Army Lieutenant in the 27th U.S. Infantry under Captain J. J. Pershing during punitive action against the Maranaos of Lake Lanao, Mindanao. He recieved the Medal of Honor for his actions in the Philippine-American War. George Damon Rice was Chaplain for the 27th Infantry.
