Photographs made by Keith V. Bletzer on the Valiente Peninsula in Panama documenting Guaymi peoples and their culture. They include images of Guaymi people, coconut harvesting, preparation of medicines, houses and house construction, boat building, and a fishing trip.

Keith V. Bletzer is a medical anthropologist and, since 2018, an adjunct faculty instructor at Pima Community College, Tucson, AZ. He conducted research among the Guaymi of Cusapin, Panama, as part of his 1988 dissertation for Michigan State University, "Social origins of folk illness among Ngawbere of the northern Valiente Peninsula: The Case of Chakore and Ha Ko Botika." His project was funded by the Smithsonian Institution and by the Panamanian Museum of Man, both of which received specimens from the area.
