The Ligue Internationale des Aviateurs (International League of Aviators) was an organization founded by Clifford Harmon to serve as "an agent for Peace and National security." Until World War II, the League administered the Harmon Trophy, a set of three international annual trophies that were awarded to the world's outstanding aviator, aviatrix and aeronaut. A fourth trophy was called the National Trophy and was awarded to the most outstanding aviator in each of the twenty-one member countries from 1926 to 1948. Roscoe Turner was awarded the Harmon National Trophy in 1932 and again in 1938.
