Films taken of events at five Tupperware Jubilees: 1957, 1960, 1961, 1964, and 1970. The Jubilee was an annual multi-day event where Tupperware sellers and district managers convened to celebrate the year's success, learn new selling strategies, and preview upcoming products. The first Jubilees took place at Tupperware's headquarters in Kissimmee, Florida. As the company expanded, Jubilees were also convened in Logan, Utah, and other locations.

Jon Boyd was a fireman, Sylvia Boyd a housewife who became a Tupperware hostess for extra income. They were very successful and became distributors in the 1960s, first in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and then back in the Los Angeles, California, area. Later Sylvia was one of the first women to get a position on staff in Florida.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
Gloves must be worn when handling unprotected photographs and negatives. Special arrangements required to view materials in cold storage. Using cold room materials requires a three hour waiting period. Contact the Archives Center at 202-633-3270.
