The papers of artist Yasuo Kuniyoshi measure 14.3 linear feet and 2.84 gigabytes and date from 1906-2016, bulk 1920-1990. The collection documents his career as a painter, graphic artist, and photographer, as well as his involvement in political, social, and art organizations, especially during World War II. Included are biographical material; correspondence; writings and lectures by Kuniyoshi and others; organization records primarily on his participation in various associations and groups he was a member of; professional and gallery records regarding business dealings with American and Japanese galleries, museums, and dealers; exhibition files; printed material; four scrapbooks; artwork; photographs of Kuniyoshi and others in various locations and at events; and artwork records which mostly consist of photographs and provenance information. The collection also contains materials on Kuniyoshi's career and artwork obtained after his death by his widow Sara Mazo Kuniyoshi.

In 1989, the National Air and Space Museum (NASM) Archives published National Air and Space Museum Archival Videodisc 6, a LaserDisc CAV format 12-inch (30 cm) optical disc; this videodisc reproduced National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) photography of American lunar missions from 1964 to 1972, including Ranger, Surveyor, Lunar Orbiter, and Apollo missions. This small collection consists of a historical series assembled by the NASM Archives to provide background information on lunar exploration missions by the United States and the Soviet Union; this material was reproduced on the first side (Side A) of NASM Archival Videodisc 6.

Emma Phoebe Waterman earned a Ph.D. in astronomy from University of California – Berkley in 1913, becoming one of the first of two women to do so. Shortly after being awarded her Ph.D., Phoebe was appointed as an assistant to the Argentine National Observatory in Cordoba, Argentina, and she later volunteered with the American Association of Variable Star Observers (AAVSO). This collection consists of digital scans of photographic prints and negatives from a Haas family scrapbook, including all the pages of album plus details of 70 selected individual images; and the front and back of a postcard found loose in the photo album.
