Fragment of a Cowichan mask (Xai-Xai) with protruding eyes, red, white and black painted decoration. Collected from Louis and Jennie George (Cowichan) by George Gustav Heye in 1935 from Clemclemalits (Lhumlhumuluts') Village on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. The mask had MAI Catalog number 18/8819 but was later exchanged in 1967.
