Background looks like the "toe" of the Sleeping Ute Mountain, in which case, locality would be at what is presently known as Towaoc (Ute word for "good, "happy,") about 90 miles west of Ignacio and 12 miles south of Cortez, now known as the Ute Mountain Ute Reservation (not Southern Ute Reservation, as stated above). --Information from Dr Sidney D....
