The Betty J. Meggers and Clifford Evans Papers document their research and professional activities from 1946-2012 and primarily deal with their archaeological and anthropological research in South America. The Glynn Isaac Papers document his lifelong interest in the study of human origins and evolution. A significant portion of the collection consists of files relating to Glynn Isaac's field work at Koobi Fora, Olorgesailie, Lake Natron, and Naivasha/Nakuru (1961-1985). These files contain accession records, catalogs, correspondence, drawings, field notes, grant proposals, lectures, manuscripts, maps, printouts, photographs, publications, reports, and slides. Glynn Isaac's teaching experiences at University of California - Berkeley and Harvard are also well represented with class notes and other teaching materials. His studies at the University of Cape Town and the University of Cambridge are also documented. Among the extensive correspondence files are letters from the members of the Leakey family along with students and colleagues studying hominid development in Africa. The collection also features copies of his lectures and a complete set of his publications including reviews.

The Joseph Cornell Study Center collection measures 196.8 linear feet and dates from 1750 to 1980, with the bulk of the material dating from 1930 to 1972. Documenting the artistic career and personal life of assemblage artist Joseph Cornell (1903-1972), the collection is primarily made up of two- and three-dimensional source material, the contents of the artists' studio, his record album collection, and his book collection and personal library. The collection also includes diaries and notes, financial and estate papers, exhibition materials, collected artifacts and ephemera, photographs, correspondence, and the papers of Robert Cornell (1910-1965) and Helen Storms Cornell (1882-1966), the artist's brother and mother.

Perls Galleries records
The records of the Perls Galleries measure 79.6 linear feet and date from 1937 to 1997. Founded by Klaus Perls in 1937 and operating until 1997, the gallery dealt primarily in modern French art and the artwork of Alexander Calder. Found within the records are extensive correspondence (circa 44 linear feet) with artists, dealers, galleries, museums, and collectors; photographs and negatives of inventory and other artwork; exhibition files, scattered financial records; and exhibition catalogs and clippings.

The Hannah Marie Wormington papers, 1930-1993, document her professional career as an archeologist through correspondence, film, grant proposals, lantern slides, lecture notes, manuscripts, newspaper clippings, photographs, presentations, publications, reports, slides, and sound recordings, including her field work at the Folsom Site.
