Community Life TV Soap Operas Collection
The collection includes scripts and films related to soap operas. Included are the 1982 script from the first episode of "Capitol," autographed by the cast; the projected story line for "As The World Turns" for 1957; and three 16mm reels from "As The World Turns."
Allen Saalburg papers
The papers of painter, illustrator, and screenprinter Allen Saalburg, 1924-circa 2003, bulk 1940-1987, measure 0.8 linear feet. Included are professional correspondence, printed material, a scrapbook and photographs. Most photographs are of Saalburg and his artwork. Also found are biographical material and subject files.
Jorge Tacla papers
The papers of Chilean born painter Jorge Tacla measure 5.05 linear feet and date from 1966-2019. Included are biographical material; letters from friends and other artists; project and exhibition files; photographs consisting of snaphots of Tacla, friends, and paintings; eleven illustrated journals; and printed material. The papers document Tacla's creative process and his relationships with other artists.
Anneberg Gallery records
The Anneberg Gallery records measure 4.4 linear feet and date from 1945 to 1992, with the bulk of the records dating from 1966 to 1981. The collection sheds light on the San Francisco gallery's operations, specializing in local crafts and international folk art, through administrative records, artist files, exhibition files, and photographic material.
American Indian social and political memorabilia collection
The collection includes posters, flyers, booklets, pamphlets, invitations, bumper stickers, programs, announcements, pins, calendars and other types of ephemera.
