Outdoor portrait of Mi'kmaq (Micmac) man Tom Gloade, and his wife Mary, parents to Annie Gloade. Possibly on the Sipekne'katik First Nation reserve (Shubenacadie), Indian Brook. It could also possibly be the Millbrook First Nation Reserve, where Tom Gloade was known to reside at the time. Both reserves are in Nova Scotia.
