Unidentified Nanticoke man standing in a cornfield in Millsboro, Delaware, showing method of cutting and stacking. The tops are in the stack in the background; corn is "topped" just above the ear. Tops are then tied and stacked around a pole to dry, then fed to animals. Corn is topped just before the harvest.
