The selected records of the Schmidt Bingham Gallery measure 1.2 linear feet and date from 1948 to 2002. The records document the history of the gallery though letters to Penelope Schmidt upon the closing of the Schmidt Bingham Gallery (2002); artists' files on Carroll Cloar, Morris Graves, and John Wilde; files relating to an exhibition, "L'Alta Fantasia, Saints, Angels and Other Heavenly Creatures" (1990-1991); and photographs of various works of art. Artists' files include biographical material, a catalog raisonne, exhibition checklists, price lists, printed material, exhibition catalogs, announcements, clippings, published writings, press releases, as well as photographs, slides, transparencies of works of art and video recordings (VHS cassettes). John Wilde's files include typescripts of his diaries (1978-1990) and letters to Penelope Schmidt (1986-2002). Also found are letters between Penelope Schmidt and Paul Caponigro (1997-2001). Video recordings are on Carroll Cloar, (undated) and Morris Graves, "An Introduction to Morris Graves, " (1994).

The Kenjilo Nanao papers measure 11.3 linear feet and date from circa 1885-1887 and circa 1949-2017, with the bulk of the papers dating from 1970 to 2000. Biographical material includes forms of international identification, travel documents, early academic writing on art, and interviews in the form of written typescripts and digital audio recordings. Correspondence is mostly personal between friends and family, in addition to a few folders of professional correspondence spanning Nanao's career. Correspondence drafts also appear as entries in bound journals. The Journals series includes bound journals of mixed content such as thoughts on art, to-do lists, and artwork in various media including watercolors and charcoal. Professional files include various professional portfolios that Nanao produced for the purpose of tenure review, a binder detailing relationships with various galleries, and various teaching materials and studio documents. Printed materials include exhibition catalogs, invitations, and clippings. Photographs are primarily of family and friends, with some images of artwork and exhibitions.
