Naval Air Station (NAS) Lakehurst was acquired by the US Navy in 1921 for use as an airship station and it served as the control station for all US Navy lighter-than-air (LTA) flights until the program was terminated in 1961. Harry Milton Baldwin served in the US Navy and was stationed at NAS Lakehurst in the 1920s. This collection consists of twelve black and white photographs relating to airships at Naval Air Station (NAS) Lakehurst, New Jersey in the 1920s.

Lucielle Belmont Baldwin Rutshaw (1887--1961) was a balloonist and parachutist who performed solo balloon ascensions and parachute drops as an entertainer at county fairs and exhibitions all over the United States and Canada in the years from 1912 to the early 1920s. This collection consists mainly of a scrapbook documenting her career.

In 1937, the Works Progress Administration's (WPA) Airways and Airports Division organized an airport inspection trip to review work undertaken at various airports under the WPA's auspices, to determine what work still needed done to develop the nation's aviation infrastructure, and to evaluate which of those future projects could be undertaken by the WPA. This collection consists of a scrapbook documenting the inspection trip.

This collection consists of digital image scans made from ten glass negatives depicting aviation related activities in the Boston, Massachusetts, area circa 1911. The first six images are views of a homebuilt version of a Santos-Dumont 20 Demoiselle (without an engine) on the ground. The remaining four images were taken from the grandstands during the 1911 Harvard-Boston Aero Meet held August 26 through September 4, 1911; two of these provide distant views of a Burgess F (Wright Model B) Moth biplane in flight.
