William Mitchell Trial Scrapbooks
Colonel William Lendrum "Billy" Mitchell (1879-1936) of the U.S. Army Air Service, a leading proponent of air power, was court-martialed for insubordination in October – December 1925 after publically criticizing the Navy and War Departments. This collection consists of two scrapbooks of material relating to the court-martial by William Webb, a member of Mitchell's defense team.

This collection consists of slides, documents and videos collected for the 1991 Desert Storm exhibit.
This collection consists of the material collected for the 1991 Desert Storm exhibit. The first series consists of copies of slides on the following Desert Shield and Storm subjects: aircraft used in the conflict; allied armor; allied personnel; chemical warfare; electronic; fields; ground troops; helicopters; Iraqi men and material; local scenes; med evac; patriot and surface-to-air missiles; night optics; oil fires and slicks; ships; transportation; and weapons. The second series consist of the paper documents, including: captions for part of the slide collection; video captions; DoD and CENTCOM daily press conference transcripts regarding Desert Shield and Storm; and miscellaneous newspaper and magazine articles on Desert Storm. There are also twenty-five videos which contain footage from Desert Storm.
Captured German and Japanese Aviation Technical Documents
This collection consists of the Air Force master microfilm of captured German and Japanese documents pertaining to aviation. The documents cover a wide variety of subjects, including aircraft and engines, flight test reports, proposals, and engineering studies. English translation is provided for some documents.
Garland Fulton Collection
This collection consists of material gathered by Captain Garland Fulton, USN. Comprising 20 cubic feet, the Fulton Papers includes correspondence and memoranda regarding the U.S. Navy's LTA program from the 1920s to the beginnings of the expansion of the Navy's LTA program prior to World War II. There is also extensive material on Naval airship policy, and on defense policy between the world wars. As head of the Lighter-than-Air Design Section of the Bureau of Aeronautics, Fulton was an insider in the art of defense procurement and spending - his memoranda and letters provide an illuminating look into defense policy and congressional affairs between the World Wars. Of particular interest is Fulton's correspondence from his service as Inspector of Naval Aircraft during the construction of the USS Los Angeles in Friedrichshafen, Germany, 1922-1924. His correspondence with other leading figures in LTA and naval affairs - William A. Moffett, Ernest J. King, Jerome Hunsaker, Karl Arnstein, Hugo Eckener, F. W. von Meister, and Charles E. Rosendahl are an invaluable resource of the heroic period of airship development. The collection also includes technical data on airships, airship design, and naval architecture. There are many photographs, including photos documenting the construction and the first flight of the Los Angeles.
Jeff Karpiak Photograph Collection
This collection consists of 63 black-and-white photographs and eight 35 mm color slides (transparencies) documenting the training of an unidentified United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) pilot in the late World War II period, followed by his service with the United States Air Force (USAF) Alaskan Air Command in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Aircraft featured include the North American P-51H Mustang and the Lockheed F-94 Starfire.
