NACA/NASA Langley Field Aircraft Log Books
bulk 1934-1940, 1951-1960
This collection consists of original aircraft, engine, and equipment log books of aircraft operated by NACA and NASA from Langley Research Center. Each log represents a history of the aircraft/engine/equipment from its manufacture, through its pre-NACA/NASA service, and during its operation by that agency.
Robert E. Johnson Collection (1939-1958)
This collection contains Johnson's profession papers during his tenure as Chief Field Engineer at Wright Aeronautical. It consists of correspondence relating to flight and engine testing, engine production, and civil aviation.
Rockwell HiMAT RPRV Documentation
This collection consists of documentation on the NASM HiMAT. The material includes correspondence, color photographs, test information, computer programs, printouts, punch tapes, and schematics.
Unmanned Aircraft Engineering Data
This collection consists of engineer's data and notes relating to mostly unmanned (drone) aircraft. Included in the notebooks are also articles, papers, and reports gleaned from a variety of sources.
NASA F-8 Supercritical Wing Collection
The supercritical wing concept was developed by Dr. Richard T. Whitcomb of the NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. Whitcomb's airfoil was designed to delay formation of shock waves at high speeds.

Captured German and Japanese Aviation Technical Documents
This collection consists of the Air Force master microfilm of captured German and Japanese documents pertaining to aviation. The documents cover a wide variety of subjects, including aircraft and engines, flight test reports, proposals, and engineering studies. English translation is provided for some documents.
Dornier Do X Photograph Album [Ben M. Anderson]
