Edward H. Dwight Papers
The papers of Cincinnati art historian, museum director, and Audubon and Peale scholar, Edward H. Dwight (1919-1981), measure 18.6 linear feet and date from 1821-2001, with the bulk of the material dating from 1950-1979. Dwight's papers include biographical material, writings by Dwight, and research files on John James Audubon, Raphaelle Peale, and others, documenting Dwight's extensive contribution to the study of American painting, particularly naturalist, portrait, and still-life painting.

Collection of group portraits donated by Sproul Observatory. Group portraits include participants at American Astronomical Society and I.A.U. [International Astronomical Union] meetings, as well as several other taken at Johns Hopkins University, Swarthmore College, and an autographed photo of Roy W. Delaplaine at a 24-inch refractor telescope.The photographs were accumulated in the files of the Sproul Observatory, Swarthmore College, over a period of years. They form a visual record of astronomers and attendees at astronomical meetings from 1916 to 1975.

The papers of curator and writer, Cynthia Goodman, date from circa circa 1944-2001, bulk 1975-1996 and measure 33.2 linear feet and .340 Gigabytes. The collection is comprised of artist files, records documenting computer and technological art, and research on Hans Hofmann and the New York School. The papers document Goodman's graduate and professional career including her studies in art history and early career writing and organizing exhibitions around Hans Hofmann and his legacy, and later her research related to the nascent computer art.
