Wendell Castle papers
The papers of Rochester, New York-based furniture designer, sculptor, and educator Wendell Castle measure 0.6 linear feet and date from 1965 to 1975. The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence with galleries, museums, universities, clients, friends, and colleagues. Also found is a small amount of other material such as resumes, financial records, price lists, notes, and printed material.
Frans Wildenhain papers
The papers of ceramicist, sculptor, and educator Frans Wildenhain measure 8.2 linear feet and date from circa 1890 to 1991. The papers document his career in Europe and the United States through biographical material, correspondence, diaries and notebooks, writings and notes, subject files, project files, printed material, three mixed media scrapbooks, artwork and sketchbooks, and photographic materials.
Fred Meyer papers
The papers of Fred Meyer measure 0.2 linear feet and date from 1959 to 1982. The papers consist of thirty-eight letters (1975-1982) including correspondence from Midtown Galleries, the Allentown Art Museum, Gallery St. Paul, and the National Academy of Design concerning Meyer's work, letters from theaters reviewing scripts submitted by Meyer, 2 letters from friends, and 3 letters from his son Michael. The collection also contains outlines for teaching assignments (1959-1969) used in Meyer's classes at the Rochester Institute of Technology, a 21-page script for a skit "R.I.T. in Orbit", and 4 exhibition announcements (1968-1982).
Hans Christensen papers
The papers of designer, silversmith, and educator Hans Christensen measure 12.3 linear feet and date from 1924 to 1989 with the bulk of the collection dating from 1955 to 1983. The collection includes biographical materials, correspondence, writings and notes, personal business records, teaching files for the Rochester Institute of Technology, printed and broadcast materials, artwork, photographic materials, and sound and video recordings.
