Douglas C. Ferguson Papers
These papers document the career and activities of Douglas C. Ferguson, Research Entomologist, Systematic Entomology Laboratory, United States Department of Agriculture. Ferguson's areas of research included the systematics of Lepidoptera, in particular Geometridae, Lymantriidae, and Arctiidae. These papers include incoming and outgoing correspondence, photographs, and related materials.
William Schaus Papers
These papers consist largely of Schaus' professional correspondence with his peers and with amateurs, mostly in his capacity as Honorary Curator. They also include fragmentary research notes, correspondence, catalogs, and news clippings relating to acquisition of the Paul Dognin Collection of Lepidoptera.
