George Cohen papers
The papers of George Cohen measure 1.8 linear feet and date between 1943 and 1980. The papers document his career as a painter and educator through correspondence; lectures, course outlines and notes, four audio reel interviews on teaching art, and other teaching files; a resume, financial records, exhibition documents with galleries, and other professional activity; clippings, exhibition catalogs, magazine contributions, and other printed material; and photographs of artwork, Cohen in his studio, and Cohen teaching.
James McNeill Whistler collection
The collection measures 0.2 linear feet and provides scattered documentation of the career of American-born British-based painter and etcher James McNeill Whistler (1834-1903) through 39 items from Whistler to various recipients, including 25 letters, 9 telegraphs, 3 invitations, one thank you card and a postcard. The collection also contains 4 letters from others, 7 catalogs of Whistler exhibitions, a note from the back of Whistler's painting The Beach at Selsey Bill, and a 1906 copy of Wilde v. Whistler: being an acromonious correspondence on art between Oscar Wilde and James A. McNeill Whistler, a pamphlet containing letters originally published in London newspapers between 1885 and 1890.
Joseph Cornell Study Center Collection

The Joseph Cornell Study Center collection measures 196.8 linear feet and dates from 1750 to 1980, with the bulk of the material dating from 1930 to 1972. Documenting the artistic career and personal life of assemblage artist Joseph Cornell (1903-1972), the collection is primarily made up of two- and three-dimensional source material, the contents of the artists' studio, his record album collection, and his book collection and personal library. The collection also includes diaries and notes, financial and estate papers, exhibition materials, collected artifacts and ephemera, photographs, correspondence, and the papers of Robert Cornell (1910-1965) and Helen Storms Cornell (1882-1966), the artist's brother and mother.

These digital surrogates reproduced the records of the Tennessee field offices of the Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen, and Abandoned Lands, 1865–1872. Included are the records of the offices of staff officers and subordinate field offices. These records consist of bound volumes and unbound records, including letters and endorsements sent and received, orders and circulars, monthly reports, and other records relating to freedmen's complaints and claims.
