The show was organized by the Anacostia Museum and Center for African American History and Culture and held at the Anacostia Gallery February 14, 1999 through June 15, 1999. This exhibit featured over 60 artists including David C. Driskell, Leslie King-Hammond, Radcliffe Bailey, Chester Higgins, Jr., and Valerie Maynard.
