Photographs taken under a grant from the Graham Foundation to document disappearing family farms in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. This project shows the urbanization of this mostly rural county in central Wisconsin located between Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison. Welsh men and women came to Waukesha County in the 1840s and became part of America's dairy history. After five or six generations, many of these farms are still family owned. Today's farms are threatened by developers due to rising land prices.

The Atlas was the first intercontinental-range ballistic missile (ICBM) in the US nuclear arsenal. This collection consists of 120 black and white photographs showing various aspects of the construction of the Atlas missile installation at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas. In addition, the collection contains three pages of drawings showing typical equipment for launcher platforms and missile silos.

The papers of painter, photographer, lithographer and industrial designer Charles Sheeler measure 4.9 linear feet and date from circa 1840s to 1966, with the bulk of the material dating from 1923-1965. The collection documents Sheeler's family, personal life and career through financial and medical records, awards, correspondence, writings, an autobiography, journal and notebooks, scrapbooks, exhibition catalogs and announcements, printed materials, photographs, funeral records and artwork by Sheeler and others.
