John Marshall papers
The papers of artist and educator John Marshall measure 2.1 linear feet and date from the 1960s to early 2000s. The collection sheds light on Marshall's career through professional files, photographs, and artwork. Professional files include resumes, awards and certificates, professional correspondence, some project files, printed material, two scrapbooks, and a film reel. Photographs consist of slides of Marshall's work and his artwork series, some of which depict Marshall working in his studio. Also found are transparencies of his work and exhibition displays; scant candid and portrait snapshots of the artist; and mounted photographs of his work. Artwork found in the collection is mostly design sketches of metalwork projects for jewlery, pots, cups, and silverware done in charcoal and pencil; and two paintings.

Stanton L. Catlin papers

The papers of curator, gallery director, educator, and Latin American art historian Stanton L. Catlin (1915-1997) measure 56.4 linear feet and date from 1911 to 1998 with the bulk of the material dating from 1930 to 1994. The papers are comprised of biographical material, correspondence, writings and notes, teaching and project files, professional files, research files, exhibition and subject files, printed material, and photographs.
Hiram Samuel Gutsell papers
Two family trees; two condolence letters from Frederick S. Sommers and William A. Hammond, Dean of Cornell University, 1927; a letter to Dean Smalley from Gutsell's widow Ida containing a Syracuse University alumni questionnaire, 1928; obituaries; printed material, 1884-1928; and a photograph of Gutsell and of a portrait relief sculpture of him.
Walter Richardson Spofford Papers
These papers document Spofford's research on the biochemical taxonomy of raptorial birds and include correspondence, laboratory notebooks, and note cards containing data from the analysis of the electrophoresis of egg-white proteins in birds.
Maulsby Willett Blackman Papers
These papers document Blackman's career at the USDA and consist of incoming and outgoing correspondence concerning the identification of specimens, the control of insects injurious to forests, and his research on Scolytidae.

The George J. Klima collection documents his field work, published works, and professional activities from 1953-2014 and primarily deal with his work studying cattle herding and kinship among the Barabaig in northern Tanzania. The collection consists of camera original film and sound recordings, photographs, field notes, and publications (text and audiovisual). Also included are correspondence; teaching and adminstrative materials from his time as a professor at the State University of New York at Albany (SUNY Albany); and personal audiovisual recordings including experimental films.
