The papers of Michiko Takaki, 1921-2011 (bulk 1960s), document her field work among the Kalinga people of the northern Philippines and her professional contributions as a faculty member at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. The papers consist primarily of economic and linguistic field data gathered between 1964 and 1968, used in the production of her doctoral dissertation ("Aspects of Exchange in a Kalinga Society, Northern Luzon," 1977) and throughout her anthropological career. The collection consists of field notes, maps, photographic prints, negatives, slides, sound recordings, recorded film, data and analysis, correspondence, working files and drafts, and publications.

The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture records measure 35.42 linear feet and date from 1945 to 2013. The paper records of the school document the period from circa 1945 to 1977 and consist of administrative records, financial records, visiting artist files, faculty files, student files, and photographic material. Also included are motion picture films by Jack Eastman and Karl Fortess, dating from circa 1950 to 1968, showing the school's campus and faculty, staff, and students at work and leisure. A large portion of the collection consists of the Skowhegan Lecture Archives, a sound recording archive of lectures given by artists speaking at the school between 1952 and 2013.

The papers of painter, printmaker, and educator Eduardo Carrillo measure 3.8 linear feet and date from circa 1953-1999, with the bulk from 1975-1997. The collection is comprised primarily of artwork and teaching materials, along with some biographical material. Biographical material includes birth and marriage certificates, writings by Carrillo and others, a portrait photograph, documentation of properties and building projects in Mexico, and some miscellaneous correspondence. Also included are obituary and memorial materials including a digital video recording documentary about Carrillo. Professional files include documentation of courses taught by Carrillo on Mexican art history, as well as educational exhibitions and films he produced, and studio documentation. Subject files on various topics in Mesoamerican Art support Carrillo's teaching of Mexican Art History. Printed materials include invitations catalogs and posters for exhibitions of Carrillo's work as well as his extended community of artist friends. The Artwork series includes early career and student artwork by Carrillo, along with original posters and a printing plate by Carlos Cortez, and artwork by friends and students.
