The papers of curator and art critic David S. Rubin measure 23 linear feet and 57.68 gigabytes and date from 1960 to 2017. The papers are comprised of biographical materials, interviews, correspondence, writing projects and notes, artists' files, exhibition files, professional files, subject and research files, printed materials, and photographic materials documenting Rubin's work in California, Arizona, and other locations throughout the United States.
Ilene Segalove papers

The papers of feminist, conceptual, video, and performance artist Ilene Segalove measure 7.1 linear feet and 6.06 gigabytes and date from 1964 to 2021. The collection contains a small amount of biographical material including resumes, certificates, and address lists; correspondence with family and friends; writings; and teaching files from the University of California, Santa Barbara. The bulk of the collection consists of project and exhibition files for both solo works and works in collaboration with Lowell Darling, and printed material. Also included are photographic materials such as snapshots of exhibition openings and slides of artwork; and artwork, primarily artist notebooks and video art. There is a 2.7 linear foot unprocessed addition to this collection donated in 2021 that include materials from Segalove's childhood, photographs of family events, and materials related to recent projects including sound recordings on cassette. Materials date from 1960-2021.
Los Angeles Institute of Contemporary Art records
The records of the Los Angeles Institute of Contemporary Art measure 18.9 linear feet, date from 1973 to 1988, and document the brief thirteen-year history of LAICA's activities as a Southern California visual arts organization and exhibition space for contemporary art. Records detail the founding of the organization, operations and administration, exhibitions, events, and publications. More than half of the collection is comprised of exhibition, program, and event files that include correspondence with artists, curators, and others; printed materials; and photographs, negatives, and slides. There is a 0.9 linear foot unprocessed addition to this collection donated in 2021 that includes slides; performance and exhibition notes and supplements; newsletters and other printed material; a chronology of exhibitions, projects, publications and activities. Materials date from 1974- 1987.

The records of Modern Multiples printmaking workshop measure 25.2 linear feet and date from the 1970s to 2017. The collection contains administrative files related to the daily operations of the print workshop, gallery, and other associated businesses owned and operated by Richard Duardo. Also included are correspondence with artists and arts institutions, as well as some personal correspondence; project and artist files; printed material; photographic material, including photograph albums; artwork; and a small amount of material related to Richard Duardo, including biographical statements, a recorded interview, and journals.
