Produced in 2016 by the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art, the film portrays how the dhows, in sailing across the monsoon winds of he Indian Ocwean between Oman and East Africa, brought cross-cultural influences along the coastal areas of Sur, Salalah, and Zanzibar.
