Papers document Kihn's career and travels associated with his interests in documenting the native American tribal nations of the United States and Canada in portraiture and writings. Found here are biographical materials, voluminous correspondence, memoirs and writings, one travel diary, printed material, financial records, three sketchbooks, sketches, and photographs.

Carol and Katie Davis Collection of Adams Morgan Ephemeral
Carol and Katie Davis Collection of Adams Morgan Ephemera, which dates from 1973-1974 and measures 1.29 linear feet, documents the growth and flourishing of neigborhood activism in Washington, DC both before and after the arrival of Home Rule. The collection includes copies of The Columbian newspaper, the self-proclaimed "Community Newspaper of Adams Morgan," also published as "Noticierio Columbian."
Mary Swift papers
The papers of photographer and curator Mary Swift measure 8.2 linear feet and date from 1973-2004. The bulk of the collection contains photographs that Swift took while working for the Washington Review. The images consist of photographs, contact sheets, and negatives of artists and art events in Washington, D.C. Also included are some personal papers; two video recordings of art events in Washington, D.C.; research material and a manuscript from Swift's M.A. thesis "Howard William Mehring, 1931-1978: Washington Color Painter" from George Washington University; and 105 sound recordings and two VHS videocassette tapes of interviews conducted by Swift, radio programs and panel discussions.
