The exhibition records of the Contemporary Study Wing of the Finch College Museum of Art measure 20.9 linear feet and date from 1943 to 1975, with the bulk of records dating from the period its galleries were in operation, from 1964 to 1975. Over two-thirds of the collection consists of exhibition files, which contain a wide range of documentation including artist files, checklists, correspondence, writings, photographs, interviews, numerous films and videos, artist statements, printed materials, and other records. Also found within the collection are administrative records of the museum, artist files, and papers of the Contemporary Wing's director and curator, Elayne Varian, which were produced outside of her work at Finch College.

The Kenneth and Miriam Stubbs papers regarding E. Ambrose Webster measure 0.9 linear feet and date from 1911-2007. A student at Webster's summer school in Provincetown, Kenneth Stubbs maintained a friendship with Webster and collected some of his original papers, including many handwritten copies of Webster's lectures, notes, an address book, photographs, letters, lists, and reproductions of artwork. Research files maintained by Kenneth, and later by his wife Miriam, include correspondence, exhibition catalogs for exhibitions of Webster's work, notes, photographs of artwork, and a sound recording of a radio interview of Miriam Stubbs and Tony Vevers discussing Webster.

This collection consists of 316 35mm color slides, 67 color photocopies, 12 exhibition labels, 2 catalog booklets, and 1 audio cassette representing the lives, culture, and arts of the Guna peoples of the Guna Yala Indigenous Territory (formerly San Blas), Panama. The photographs were taken by Edward L. Mattil during visits between 1973 and 1977, and depict Guna people in their daily lives, as well as a wide variety of mola textiles that they had made.
