These digital surrogates reproduced the records of the Superintendent of Education for the State of Alabama, Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen, and Abandoned Lands, 1865–70. The bound records include four volumes of letters and endorsements sent, a register of letters received, and a miscellaneous account book.
