Humberto Dionisio papers
The papers of Cuban born American painter Humberto Dionisio measure 2.7 linear feet and date from 1919 to 1990. The collection primarily documents Dionisio's relationships with his family, particularly his mother, through letters, photographs, financial records, printed material, and family memorabilia collected by Dionisio himself and by his mother, Zaida Ortega Dominguez.

John Frederick Peto and Peto family papers
The papers of still life artist John Frederick Peto and his family date from circa 1850 to 1983 and measure 2.1 linear feet. Within the papers are scattered biographical materials, a few letters to and from Peto, and his daughter Helen Peto Smiley's correspondence with galleries, scholars, and others concerning Peto's artwork. Also found are news clippings, exhibition catalogs, and other printed material, photographs and glass plate negatives of Peto, his family, and his artwork, and one small oil sketch fragment. Much of the collection documents the mid-twentieth century renewed interest in Peto's artwork.
Records document publication of the Journal from solicitation of manuscripts to final layout. Also included are records for staff information, for example, information regarding various presses. See also: Record Unit 190.
William H. Johnson papers
The papers of African American painter William H. Johnson date from 1922 to 1971, with the bulk of the material dating from 1926 to 1956, and measure 1.5 linear feet. The collection documents Johnson's career as an artist in New York and in Europe and his marriage to textile artist Holcha Krake through scattered biographical material, including eight letters regarding the sale and exhibition of his work - one from Langston Hughes and two are from Alonzo Aden of the Barnett Aden Gallery. Also found are exhibition catalogs, news clippings, other printed material, and photographs of Johnson, Krake, and their artwork. One scrapbook contains news clippings, letters, and additional photographs. Another scrapbook contains travel postcards. Also found are a few scattered records and research notes compiled by the Harmon Foundation regarding William H. Johnson.

Nanae Momiyama papers
The papers of New York painter, calligrapher, and educator, Nanae Momiyama measure 3.0 linear feet and date from 1928-circa 2000, with the bulk of the materials dating from 1948-1990s. The collection traces Momiyama's career as a first wave post-World War II Japanese-American artist through biographical material, correspondence, writings and notes, business records, printed material, scrapbooks, sketches and sketchbooks, and photographs.
Charles Cajori papers
The papers of New York painter, Charles Cajori measure 7.3 linear feet and 0.070 GB and date from 1940-2015. The collection documents Cajori's activities as a painter, educator, and co-founder of the Tanager Gallery that was located on the Lower East Side in New York through correspondence; writings and notes; interviews, talks, and panel discussions, one digitized, on art and artists; and printed materials. There is a 2.3 linear foot unprocessed addition to this collection donated in 2015 and 2021 that includes correspondence consisting of postcards from Barbara Grossman to Charles Cajori, 1967-1968, and condulences to Barbara regarding Cajori's death; writings; printed material and a sound recording relating to Charles Cajori and the Tanager Gallery; printed material regarding works of art and exhibition reviews; thumb drives and DVDs containing interviews, works of art, installations, Cajori memorial; photographs are of Cajori (several BW oversized), with family and friends, black and white and color photographs of works of art, events and exhibition installations, slides of works of art including masters, and three black and white photographs of Franz Kline and Willem de Kooning and Franz Kline's studio; biographical information; printed material; files regarding the New York Studio School and the conservation of paintings. Material dates from circa 1940-2015.
