Markham sold a certain parcel of land (approximately 200 acres of "English meadows") in the vicinity of the Saddle River, New Jersey. The sale was recorded on March 20, 1696/7 in Perth, Amboy, New Jersey and was witnessed by Thomas Lawrence.
